Package description

The Integration to Cloud‑Based Services – Two‑Way Sync package connects Salesforce (Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud) with a single external cloud platform such as an accounting, HR, ERP, or banking system, enabling data to flow both from the external system into Salesforce and from Salesforce back to the external system. It is suitable for both new and existing Salesforce orgs and focuses on keeping key records aligned across systems so sales and service teams work with consistent, up‑to‑date information while reducing manual data entry. Work is delivered in sprints over approximately 3–5 weeks on a fixed‑price basis, with integration design and build implemented as custom development and subject to review of the external provider’s API for suitability, security, and performance.

Package deliverables

Typical deliverables include an integration design that defines system of record, direction of data flows, and rules for handling updates and conflicts between Salesforce and the external system. The package covers custom build of inbound and outbound integration components (for example, Apex services, triggers or platform events, scheduled jobs, and callouts), configuration of required data structures in Salesforce (standard and custom objects/fields), and mapping of fields in both directions. It also includes basic retry and error‑handling mechanisms, monitoring and logging for integration activity, configuration of page layouts or related lists to expose integrated data clearly to users, and concise technical documentation plus short enablement materials explaining how and when data is synced.
